Search and Replace Text in Transcription Results

You can search for words or phrases in the transcription screen using the search and replace dialog (box).

When the transcription screen is in edit mode, you can also replace text.

Let's efficiently edit the transcription results using the search and replace function.

Search Function

First, let's explain the "Search" function. Here, we'll introduce an example of searching for the word "accuracy" in the transcription results.

1. Click "Search" displayed in the upper right corner of the note's transcription screen.

2. The "Search" dialog (box) will be displayed.

3. Enter the text you want to search for in the input box labeled "Search...". In this case, enter "accuracy". The instances of "accuracy" in the transcription results will be highlighted in yellow. The number of matches will also be displayed (1/6 means the first of 6 occurrences).

4. To move to the next occurrence of the searched text, click ">" in the "Search" dialog. Alternatively, you can move using the "Enter" key.

To move to the previous occurrence, click "<".

5. Click "×" to close the "Search" dialog.

This completes the search method.

Replace Function

Next, let's explain the "Replace" function. Here, we'll replace the Arabic numeral "4" in the transcription results with the Arabic numeral "4".

1. First, switch to "Edit mode". Click "Edit" displayed in the upper right corner of the note's transcription screen.

2. Click "Search and Replace".

3. The "Search" dialog (box) will be displayed. Click ">" to switch to the "Search and Replace" dialog.


4. Enter the text you want to search for in the input box labeled "Search...". In this case, enter "四". The instances of "四" in the transcription results will be highlighted in yellow.

5. Enter the replacement text in the input box labeled "Replace...". In this case, enter "4".

6. Click "Replace All" to complete the replacement in one batch.

7. Click "×" to close the "Search and Replace" dialog.

8. Click "End Editing" to exit edit mode.

This completes the replacement method.

Replacing While Confirming One by One

You can check each occurrence one by one using "<" and ">" and replace as needed. The currently selected occurrence will be highlighted in orange, so you can click the "Replace" button as necessary. You can also click "Replace All" at any point to replace all occurrences at once.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
