Real-time Translation Feature

Updated this week

When you select "Simultaneous Translation Language" in real-time transcription, the translation results will appear in the AI Editor section.

  • For Enterprise Plans: This is a beta feature with limited access. If you would like to use it, please contact us at [email protected]

  • For Pro/Team/solo/Business Plans: Using real-time translation will consume an additional 10 credits per hour (rounded up).

Real-time Translation Procedure

Below is an example of the process for real-time translation from "English" to "French".

1. Click the "Record with Microphone" at the top right of the home screen.

2. On the real-time transcription upload screen, select "Spoken Languages" and "Target Languages," then click "Start Recording."

(For microphone and internal audio settings, please refer to Microphone and Internal Audio Settings below)

In this example, translation from "English" to "French" is set.

If you set the "Target Languages" to "None," you can perform regular real-time transcription without translation, just as before.

3. When recording begins, transcription and translation happen in real-time.

The transcription screen on the right side displays the transcription results in the spoken language (in this case, "English").

The AI Editor on the left side displays the language selected for simultaneous translation (in this case, "French").

Microphone and Internal Audio Settings

  • Microphone Setting

    • Microphone only checked: With this setting, only the configured microphone's audio will be captured. Voices spoken near the microphone will be used for the translation feature.

  • Internal Audio Setting

    • Internal audio also checked: When this setting is enabled, audio from within the same window can also be captured. For example, if you play a video during screen sharing, this audio can also be included in the translation. (※When using internal audio, please make sure the microphone is also enabled.)

Use Cases:

  • For Online Meetings:

    • When launching an online meeting in an app: Use a microphone/speaker, check only the microphone option, and start.

    • When launching an online meeting in a browser: Internal audio settings can capture the audio. Check the internal audio option as well and start.

Setting Translation Language Options

The language options displayed for translation language are linked to the transcription language settings.

To configure translation language options, open the "Transcription Language" screen from "Settings" in the global menu. When you enable the required languages (move the slider on the right side of the language name to the right to turn it orange 🟠), the specified languages will appear as translation language options.
