Real-time recording depends on the performance of your device and network environment, and may be slightly less accurate than transcription from uploaded files. For higher accuracy, we recommend recording audio using a voice recorder, smartphone, or a web conferencing tool, and then uploading the file for transcription.
1. Tap the “+” button at the bottom right of the home screen and select “Record Audio”. You’ll see a prompt such as “Rimo app would like to access your microphone” — please allow access.
2. Tap “Start Recording” to begin the analysis. Stay quiet during recording to ensure accuracy.
The time required for transcription depends on the length of the audio. Once complete, the transcribed text will begin to appear.
If the transcription doesn’t complete after some time, try refreshing the page.
To end real-time transcription, tap the “Finish” button at the top of the page.
3. Once the recording ends, the transcription result will be displayed.
