Regarding the use of the microphone

When recording audio, we recommend using a microphone to avoid background noise. This improves the accuracy of character conversion during transcription and reduces the time it takes to correct characters.

💡When recording with an IC recorder or smartphone, please use an external sound collection microphone.

For online

Although it is possible to collect sound using the microphone attached to your PC, it is better to use a headset with a microphone such as the one below. When using your PC's microphone, speak as close to the microphone as possible.

If the event is held offline

Study sessions, events, lectures etc.

For events where the number of speakers is limited, we recommend using a handheld microphone such as the one below or a stand microphone, which allows the distance between the mouth and the microphone to be close.

When having a conversation with multiple people, such as in a meeting

It is best to record audio using a built-in conference system that has a microphone for each person, but this will require a certain amount of equipment cost. If you want to try it out at an affordable price, there is a way to collect sound by placing multiple microphones that can be placed on a desk or the like. If a super-directional microphone is placed appropriately, it will be possible to suppress the overlapping of surrounding sounds and focus on the speaker and record clear audio, allowing for subsequent text conversion to be performed relatively cleanly.
